The Laboratory Council, established according to the art. 18 and 22 of the Regolamento Generale of the INFN, collaborates with the Director in the following activities:
- planning of the laboratory activity and funding needs to be presented to the directive offices of the INFN;
- evaluation of the problems connected with the laboratory activity and the actuation locally of the dispositions of the Consiglio Direttivo;
- evaluation and annual report of the internal activity.
The Laboratory Council is headed by the Director and includes also:
- the local coordinators of the scientific lines in which the laboratory operates;
- the leaders of the Divisions;
- one representative from the research personnel;
- one representative from the technologist;
- two representative from the administrative and technical personnel;
- the leader of the (eventual) Gruppi Collegati.
Each representative(s) is(are) elected by the respective category, is(are) in charge for three years and can be re-elected for a consecutive second term only once.
